paper things
I spent the morning working on a zine. I'm using a legal-sized paper for this one. I told myself my next zine would be a half-fold booklet, but here I am making another one-page zine.
The slightly bigger format feels nice/different.
I'm challenging myself not to use a computer for this issue. Everything will be handwritten, or/and using my typewriter + drawings from my sketchbook and journal.
It feels good to take a break from screens, to spend some time at my kitchen table, writing, cutting and pasting, and getting lost in my own world for a bit.
I love weekly zine makers like Rut Zine, and Friday Night in West Ealing. Do you know of any frequent zine makers? One-page letter writers? I'd like to make more zine friends:)
I guess I'm craving more paper things in my life. Letters. Paper notes. Real things to hold and enjoy.
