mailing zines + sketchbook things
I spent the morning drawing on envelopes and sending out a few zines while listening to absolutely nothing—no music or podcasts, just the quiet and my pen scratching away on paper. V relaxing!
every zine I mail out gets some cute little drawings on their envelope 💌
monstrous existence 4!
I played with some new markers in my sketchbook this morning. Despite my typical black ink drawings, I really do love color. I'm just not very good at melding a pleasing palette together, but nonetheless, I had fun gliding them over the paper.
a winter landscape.
this is my first attempt at drawing a landscape with markers, might try it a few more times with different colors.
Currently reading: Anaïs Nin a sea of lies by Léonie Bischoff. This book is STUNNING. The colored pencil work is so ethereal, soft, and dream-like. I'm in awe of its beauty. The story itself is captivating and captures the essence of her diaries, which I read many years ago.
Rn, I'm having black Tetley tea with a slice of lemon. I usually have it with milk, but idk, I decided to have it like my grandmother usually drinks it. She's a hundred years old, so she must be doing something right!
you're my internet crush
