an 8-page mini zine: dear karla
It's been raining all day. For some reason, I thought about my friend Karla today, who passed away in 2017, so I decided to make a mini zine about her.
This is an 8-page mini-zine about the thoughts I had about her while at a walk-in clinic waiting to be seen by a doctor. Most of the writing in this zine was adapted from an original blog post that I wrote over a year ago. But I wanted to make something I could hold. A tangible reminder of her.
Blog things: Instead of adding links to the bottom of each blog post like I usually do, I've decided to make a couple of my Raindrop lists public and followable via RSS.
The first is a zine list, and the other, sidewalk daisies, is a collection of small web stuff, art, blog posts I like, and other musings that catch my attention during my internet travels.
I don't know how long it will last, but I'm giving it a try. The main reason I'm doing this is to find links I've shared over time, as searching for old links on Bearblog is impossible. We shall see how it goes/feels :)
