the island + storygraph
I'm still undecided about going to the island this weekend. A part of me thinks c'mon, it won't be that bad; you might even have fun, while simultaneously thinking it will be that bad, and no fun shall be had. Why do I need to analyze every minutiae of life?
I recently decided to try StoryGraph, after watching a new-to-me booktuber Cass Krug. Her tastes run parallel to mine, minus her penchant for motherhood books.
I've never been one to catalog my books (Goodreads and I didn't quite mesh), but I like that StoryGraph allows you to search books based on your moods and pace, which I find genius. I'm mainly using this app to guide me while pursuing physical bookstores, so I'm not left wandering the aisles, unable to choose something.
