doodling in coffee shops and summer hikes
I miss writing on my little blog.
Yesterday, I went and hung out in a charming cafe in Bowanville called The Toasted Walnut. I sat and did some drawings for my next one-page zine. I people-watched out the window, and half-listened to the convos around me. The cafe was full of regulars, evident by the easy banter between customers and wait staff. Cute little spot to spend some time. My iced vanilla latte was not too sweet, and was the perfect refresher as I sat and doodled.

Since I don't have a printer, I'll be using the Courtice library. We'll see how that goes.
After seeing a few apartments in Toronto the other day (all of them were a no-go), I stopped in Wonder Pens and picked up some cute blue envelopes to mail my zines. I also couldn't resist and got a little Midori notebook covered in cats to use as my next journal, and some summer-ish washi tape for the envelopes.

We went for a hike the other day. Everything was so lush, green, and alive with Summer goodness.

The reflection of the clouds in the water is so pretty.
