tired of horror films
I've started watching The Residence and it's such a fun watch. Uzo Abuda is excellent. I adore her character. Am I into mystery stories now? Maybe.

I started reading The Mistletoe Mystery by Nita Prose, because perhaps this genre will finally save me from my reading slump and idk. It's a very wholesome book (maybe too wholesome?). Plus, it's a romance, and this one is overly sugary, which is a turn-off. It's very Hallmark. I just want a good mystery book to sink into over the holiday, but I don't think this book and I are a good match. I shall keep looking.

Continuing my daily drawings in my pocket notebook. I'm having so much fun with this tiny format.
K and I finally finished watching Monster: The Ed Gein Story. I had a hard time watching it, especially when being manipulated into feeling sorry for a mass murderer. Tbh, horror movies don't do it for me anymore. I am no longer a cool girl. In 95% of horror movies, it's just a bunch of psychotic men, raping, stalking, mutilating, torturing, and killing women. Violence against women shouldn't be a "genre". Fucking tired of watching women get brutalized in the name of entertainment.
