The not knowing
Spent the morning playing with some crayons. There’s something about their non precise marks that make drawing with them playful and fun.
Going to see my dad later today.
The follow-up scan after his chemo treatments showed no improvements. The tumour didn’t shrink, but it didn’t grow either. Not sure what to make of it, but it’s not the outcome we had all hoped for.
The doctors are hesitant to give an estimate of the time he has left. Perhaps this kind of information doesn’t benefit anyone.
I’ve never been good with the not knowing. Always worrying about things I can’t control.
There’s been snow upon snow here in Toronto. The morning walk with the doggo, was under big fat snowflakes, and we made fresh tracks everywhere we went.
