slow-moving day
I spent the morning reading Mysteries of the Dark Moon by Demetra George, then went to Wimpy's for breakfast (my favorite), and visited an antique store to have a look around. A slow-moving day that matched the rainy weather.

🌑 Dark Moon alchemy >>> journaling with a tarot card, resting, sleeping longer, writing letters to an ancestor, writing down dreams, drinking root-grounding teas, taking hot baths with no background noise, noticing energy leaks and deciding what to minimize.

lately
- Reading about: moon phases, Carl Jung's theory on archetypes and shadow work, numerology, astrology house placements
- I've started a commonplace book for all my notes/research/quotes instead of them mingling with my daily journal. I'm using a B6 Life Noble notebook with the orange cover. I think it'll be easier to look for things without having to leaf through pages of daily logs
- Lifting weights, doing squats, + daily walks
- Grappling with my judgmental views on women altering their faces with surgery. This obviously has more to do with me, triggering my own self-esteem/worth issues, than what other people are choosing to do with their bodies. I just want to be able to look up to older women who are at peace with their actual faces. Perhaps to give me permission to grow old naturally too. I know Hollywood is warped, and most people in that industry live in a non-reality, but idk, I find it discouraging. Getting older as a woman right now is wild.

heart-ons
- Camelia's dreamy artwork
- Kosuke Ajiro spectacular art
- A Samhain zine reading list
