The view from my bedroom window this morning. Swirls of pretty colors, the quintessential backdrop for the loveliest of birdsongs...
Yesterday, I received issue one of Aswirl's poetry zine and read it in bed. I'm smitten by its simplicity and imaginative concrete poetry. I feel so inspired to play with words after reading it.
...the tactile feel of the paper tingled my brain. I couldn't stop admiring it last night...folding and unfolding, rereading it in its entirety.
...and they sent this treasure in the smallest of envelopes, written in the most delightful penmanship. Wow, I'm so enamored with it. Just what my soul needed!
