I haven't left the house today.
K is taking his brother + fam to the airport. They're going to France, and then on a cruise around the Mediterranean. We're going for dinner when he gets back. I feel like Italian. Pasta, bread. And some wine.

Yesterday, I went to BMV used bookstore to try to find a few books. I couldn't find anything, despite it being two-storey plus a basement. I felt a bit overwhelmed by its grandeur. There were books I was specifically searching for on the rec by Malissa, but I couldn't find them. I went home and bought them off Amazon. (I know, shameful.)

On the way home I decided to spoil myself. I bought two perfumes. Both by Phlur. They're on the "clean" side which I always try to find. Missing Person Eau de Parfum with Bergamot nectar, Orange flower, Jasmine, Sandalwood. Honey Moon Eau de Parfum with Mandarin, Orange blossom, Neroli, Tonka, Sandalwood.
I've been layering them together, and I love them. Soft and uplifting.
I think it's hard to find truly clean perfumes. On my wishlist: Queens + Monsters Eau de Parfum by Henry Rose, and the discovery set by Wyld Notes.
I also bought myself a bouquet of flowers from the market.
It's my second day home after being at K's all week. I received a card from the vet's office. They keep a wall of pet photos behind the receptionist desk, and having them return his little photo was painful. And finite.
I miss him in all the little ways.
