jazz and scrambled eggs

sometimes i pull a random record from my late fathers collection that i inherited. i’ve never heard of Dexter Gordon.

he was an American jazz tenor saxophonist, composer, and bandleader.

at first listen: it’s a busy record. chaotic (in a good way), fast, cityscape new york, bustling. it’s not a mellow record. i had it on while making scrambled eggs for lunch.

my fav track is You’re Blasé. it’s a little slower, and the piano is beautiful.

i like the moody cover.
