I've fallen in love with radio
My search continues to find a decent one at Value Village (I guess I could order one online, but I rather hold out and find a used one somewhere), but in the interim, I've downloaded a radio app at the insistence of a new bloggo friend...hi M:)
I've been listening to a few small college stations he recommended, and their shows have captured my heart with new music recs, local bands info, and their easy chit-chat. I find it soothing.
I checked out BMV (a local secondhand bookstore) and found a few records. I didn't buy anything, as I'm still combing through my dad's collection, but there were some good ones!
Went out for some sushi with my sis on Sunday, and then we walked over to our fav Italian restaurant for a tiny dessert and un petit café. The coffee was so delish I drank it black (I usually have it with cream).
Went out for breaky with one of my best pals this morning, and we then walked around and chatted about life while soaking up the balmy weather. A perfect morning indeed.
While being lazy on the couch this afternoon, amid a pleasant internet rabbit hole, I found a gem—Brr. A personal blog chronicling experiences living and working on a research station in Antarctica. So fascinating; new fav find for sure.
