Well holy shit. I knew Drugstore Cowboy was directed by Gus Van Sant (one of my fav directors), but I didn’t know the screenplay was co-written by William S. Burroughs himself. Makes sense. What a brilliant classic. I’ve watched it so many times, it’s forever burned into my memory.
