enoki journaling prompts, and some weekly thoughts
I pulled a card from The Mushroom Oracle and thought i'd share a few journaling questions I used with it.

Enoki grows in tight-knit clusters. This card explores collectivity, enduring, and etherealness. I can see a waxing moon, which signals: building, intention setting, and calling things in that you want.
Journaling Q's:
- What invisible connections are linking me to others?
- How can I contribute to the collective well-being of those around me, even if those things are subtle?
- What am I building or tending to that is meant to last beyond this moment?
- Where in my life am I being asked to grow in community rather than alone?
Words/ideas: growth through connection, unseen networks.
What can I do to forge more irl community? Share my zines around my neighborhood and cafes. Host a zine night or creative circle with a small group of people. Show up where I want to grow roots. Say hi, ask questions, offer help. Community forms through presence.
Speaking of community, I read Zoe's post on creating a personal canon. This approach to cataloging influences really resonates with me, and I've been taking notes and fleshing out my own list. Also, thank you, Zoe, for the shout-out if you're reading this! I'm so glad that I decided to leave that zine in your library, which led you to finding Bear:) How serendipitous!
this week
My health anxiety has been so bad lately. Such awful, intrusive thoughts on a constant loop. Why does my brain act this way? It's so exhausting to think this way all the time.
The zine I made, zines > screens has been downloaded so many times this week! I'm so happy that it's resonated with you, so thank you for reading it!
I bought the fluffiest, prettiest, most delicate peonies this week. They're magic.
It's been so humid and scorching hot that I've been sleeping in the living room with the AC blasting full force. The fan in the bedroom isn't cutting it lol.
Sea Green Zines did a review of my zines, and the fact that she loved them made me feel so good. Thank you, Nyx!! <3
I've been wanting to post daily card pulls and journaling prompts on my website, but idk if that would be too much for people who aren't interested in that stuff, especially for those who are following my blog via RSS. I wonder if there's a way to filter this via tags in a reader? I need to look into it.
My dad passed away two years to the date last Saturday. Time flies. My sister and I visited the cemetery where both my mom and dad are buried, and we sat on a bench and chatted about life.
Happy Pride to all my LGBTQ friends and esp to all my bi mutuals <3
