Bookstores and breakfast
My tv isn’t working….again! I just don’t get it. It’s not even two years old! 😭 I’ve now resorted to watching shows on my laptop. Bahhh. When it rains, it pours, etc.

I’ve been dipping in and out of a few different non-fiction books lately—mostly art/comics and finishing up My Inner Sky by Mari Andrew.
Going for brunch with my sister tmrw, then perhaps we’ll check out a used bookstore. Not that I need any new books, but it’s still fun to walk down their creaky aisles to see what treasures might be hiding. ✨
My favorite used bookstore I’ve ever been to is Russel Books, when I used to live in Victoria, BC. It was the perfect mix of old and new. Plus, it has two floors! I haven't been there in over ten years, and looking at pictures of it now, I can see that it’s changed quite a bit.
Every time I visit a new town, I have to visit their secondhand bookstores. It’s a must! That and their breakfast place, because breaky is the best meal of the day 🍳. N’est-ce pas?
