a little blog love + art process notes
Spent the morning catching up on my RSS list and was so happy to read Alice's People & Blogs interview. I've been reading her blog for over two years now, and feel so lucky to have found her writing. I love her book reviews/opinion pieces, her love of sci-fi, her vulnerability about social anxiety (which I struggle with too), her myriad inspiring hobbies, and her passionate slice-of-life moments. She's definitely one of my favorite comfort bloggers that I always look forward to reading. This is why I love the internet <3

On the weekend K and I took the doggo for a little jaunt through the park and it was a perfect fall day.
art process
I've been doing some drawings in my sketchbook with simple black pens.
Tested out adding some dark blue watercolor on one of the pages. The fountain pen I was using wasn't waterproof, so it created lovely smudges.
Was letting myself doodle whatever came to mind without any particular goal.
I couldn't help but think of the 9 of pentacles this morning, which is all about enjoying your own company, indulging in your hobbies, playing with your pets, and just feeling that sense of happiness with doing your own thing, surrounded by the things you love. This card is definitely my jam <3
